Rope Jam: Interaction is a guided practice focused on how we communicate, listen, and respond to each other through rope.
We will explore simple partner exercises around touch, movement, rope tension, pace, and non-verbal feedback. The aim is to notice how an interaction changes when we slow down, stay curious, and let both people influence what happens instead of treating tying as a fixed sequence of techniques.
After the guided part, the studio will remain open for a regular Rope Jam where you can continue exploring these ideas in your own practice. All levels are welcome, and you can come alone or with a partner. Clear boundaries, ongoing consent, and the option to pause or stop at any time are part of every exercise.
What to bring
If you have your own rope, bring it. If not, rope is available at the studio, and you can buy some from our shop. Wear comfortable clothing that allows movement — see our studio rules for more.
