This time we’ll explore the world of thin ropes, cords, shoelaces, and all kinds of micro-scale tying materials.
How does the feeling change when the rope becomes thinner? What new textures, details, tension, and aesthetics appear? How can small and subtle tying elements be integrated into your usual rope sessions?
This jam is an invitation to experiment, play, and rethink familiar ideas through a different scale and sensation. Bring any thin materials you’d like to explore — from tiny jute ropes to cords, ribbons, shoelaces, or anything else that inspires you.
As always:
- beginners are welcome
- you can come alone or with a partner
- observing is completely okay too
Let’s get curious and see what happens when Shibari becomes smaller, more delicate, and more detailed.
