Rope Jam + Speed Rope Dating

An open Rope Jam with a structured way to meet new practice partners.

We begin with Speed Rope Dating: participants rotate in pairs, tie with each other for about 10 minutes, take a short break, and then move on to the next partner. The aim is practical and social, not romantic — a chance to experience different approaches, practise clear communication, and meet people you may want to tie with again.

Each round starts with a quick conversation about roles, experience, boundaries, and what feels comfortable. You can always skip a round, observe, or stop an interaction at any time. Consent is ongoing, and no one is expected to do more than they want.

After the rotations, the studio stays open for a regular Rope Jam: free practice, conversation, tea, and time to continue with someone you connected with. All levels are welcome. You can come alone or with a partner.
